As spring meets summer, I thought I’d share a peek at a recent counter we fabricated that complements the colorful exuberance of the season. The design was actually based on the artwork of Wassily Kandinsky, a well-known early 20th-century abstract artist. It was challenging but fun to translate his design intent in glass.
This “swoop” of a countermeasures 12 ft.- 3 in. L x 2 in. thick. It is situated in an area with plenty of natural light from a waterfront setting during the day and dramatically underlit when the day darkens. It certainly commands attention in a setting full of beautiful and distinctive artwork. We were fortunate to be able to provide this striking piece for a very discerning couple.
